U6's League
Welcome:
This is the Under 6’s Page. It has been a difficult year for the group without a regular coach to guide them but the group have developed well over the winter. Their passing skills and dribbling techniques have really improved by the end of the season. Having started the season with 22 new players the cold weather took its toll and the numbers had halved by the end of May. We must thank Mr Annetts for all the effort that he put in, without which the training would have ceased around early February. The children are a very passionate determined group and if they can channel their energy in the correct manner they will prove to be a tough opposition in the coming seasons.
Although the seasons’ training has come to an end, some additional sessions are being run as taster sessions with the New Year R intake.
Team Announcements:
Training will resume in early September but Year 1 children are invited to taster sessions at Heathlands on 27 June, 4, 11 and 18 July. Sessions start at 9.30am and will finish by 10.30am.
Team News:
The team need a permanent coach for next season. The club would like parents to step forward to take this up or to make suggestions. Contact Ken D’Rosario as soon as possible with your thoughts.
